Re: 2nd hand KK with all-in in front?
you call, and on the extremely off chance he has AA, you console yourself in the fact that you did absolutely nothing wrong.

Re: 2nd hand KK with all-in in front?
Only getting your money in with the nuts as opposed to "a hand that will almost always be best" is not good poker, especially in most small-stakes SNGs where you can get 1st in the tourney without ever getting a pocket pair at all.

[ QUOTE ]
Is this a bad beat post??? Call. [/ QUOTE ] This is not a bad beat post. I was thinking, why would you pop this all in with AA? You'd want to milk AA a little wouldn't you? I've been reading HOH, and find that his advice is very sound, but I think you have to make some changes when you're dealing with the maniacs that you find at the 10+1 level on Party. I get caught sometimes thinking that the player across the table has a working brain. |

Re: 2nd hand KK with all-in in front?
If donks have AA here, they also have AK, QQ, JJ, TT, AQ, and a ton of hands that KK dominates.

Re: 2nd hand KK with all-in in front?
Fold he could have King Jack not suited.
No of course you call, i'm sorry if i'm missing something but its an sng if he has AA (which is 1/5 times or less, people love minraising with these if its a low limit if its high you're unlikely to see a push) then open up another one, otherwise doubleup. Edit ~ Said king jack not suited before i read the replies, was gonna edit it out but thought i'd just put this in to say I wasn't copying you =p |

Re: 2nd hand KK with all-in in front?
Right, I played a hand a couple weeks ago that went raise, call, reraise, reraise, call, all-in, all-in, all-in. I had KK, the other guys had TT and 88. I was "sure" someone had AA, but I just couldn't fold! I'd never fold KK preflop at the $10 level. I don't think you'll be right enough to make it profitable.
