Default Tipping a jackpot in B&M Casino

I moved into US a year ago from a country where tipping is not customary. I've learned to tip here and even began to like it since it definitely improves the service you get.

I've been playing for a while in local casinos and started thinking how much should I tip the dealer if I won a e.g. $10,000 jackpot? It would feel weird to give $1,500 away 'voluntarily' for the same service that you usually tip a couple of dollars.

I think 5% is customary for this sort of thing (much like a tournament win). (wiki topic)

3% - 5% is what I have heard as well. Now if only I would be forced to decide . . .
