Default Sklansky bucks

Just an interesting thought, spawned by an evening of losing on the river:

Is there any software that will look through your PT databases and calculate "Sklansky bucks" (aka your equity in a given hand)?

eg, you hold AKo and raise, opponent calls with AJo. At this point, assuming you're headsup preflop now and SB & BB folded, you have 3-1 advantage so if the pot is 5.5sb, your "sklansky bucks" total is (5.5)*(.75)=4.13sb

ex 2, If you have Axs, opponent has KQo and flop is Q96 with two of your suit, your equity headsup is about 46% (actually way way higher than I thought..obviously this drops if opponent has the K of your suit, or if you don't have that overcard, etc). Sklansky bucks total is (.46)*(pot size)

Along with options to view Sklansky bucks on flop, turn, preflop, etc, this could be an invaluable tool to see if you are getting your money in with the best hand, or correctly priced draw.

note: those equity numbers were pulled from twodimes.net/poker

I was thinking about the same thing after the following beat just an hour ago:

I get AQ of clubs on the button. Two limpers: UTG and MP. I raise. SB & BB call as well as the two limpers. Flop is AA4 with two hearts & one diamond. Checked to me, and I bet. SB & MP call. Turn is a Ten of diamonds. Checked to me, and I bet, two callers again. River is a Jack of diamonds. SB bets out, MP folds, I call. SB shows KQ of diamonds for the Royal Flush.

The Sklansky bucks for my hand were about as high as I can hope. I'm 7-3 favorite preflop. I'm 19-1 on the flop. I'm 3-1 on the turn. But, I'm dead on the river. So, 1.4+.95+1.5-2=1.85 small bets. I can warm my heart by knowing that I earned almost 1 BB by the way I played this particular hand. But, in reality I lost 3.5 BBs.

PT just shows the results, which is good, but the -3.5 BB number definitely doesn't help me to improve my game. If anything, it suggests that I "somehow" get away from this hand, because it loses money! lol. It would be nice to see some Sklansky bucks somewhere in PT to keep me on the right track towards poker success.

If you need software to tell you to let go of your hand on the river here, then either online games are ridiculously loose or your game needs work

You want to be careful posting links or even your site name as the forum police will eventually bust you - I'm speaking from experience here

I play NL so excuse my ignorance here but what exactly does Sklansky bucks tell you ? Potsize is 5.5 SB and your sklansky bucks are 4.13SB or whatever. How does this help you?

I don't know if there's an actual definition floating around out there. But, my impression of it is the "value" of your money when it goes into the pot. It seems like a attempt to refine "EV" analysis. Theoretically , Sklansky bucks could give you an indication of your true win rate.
