Re: 3/6 scary board
I raise the flop for a free card.
Turn play is good. River looks good. Fold to a CR. |

Re: 3/6 scary board
I'd raise the flop here. You likely have 8 solid outs with the OESD, a backdoor flush, and position so you can take the free turn card if necessary. The way you played it, the turn raise is good to charge all of the draws. What happened to UTG on the river? Heads up with just SB I think it's a good river value bet since a J is pretty unlikely considering his previous action.

Re: 3/6 scary board
I wasn't heads up, converty messed it up a bit. UTG went all-in for $1 on the turn, I "raised" it to the full $6.

Re: 3/6 scary board
guess there is REALLY more input needed on the SB's aggressiveness in multiway pots to determine wether a raise on the turn is justified or not. UTG's "weak" call helps you swing it towards a raise since you get better equity on your raise, but if SB is only to bet 2pair and up on flops like these multiway, theres still no point of raising it. And the latter decription isn't that uncommon to a lot of players.
ps. Im really raising-capping the flop in that hand. |
