Do you like playing against short stacks?
I have read that some players don't much enjoy playing vs. short stacked players because they become erratic. I feel just the opposite. I seek out tables with short stacked players. Please correct me if these impressions are wrong about short stacked players:
1. Often a short stacked player sat down at the table with too few chips. This seems to show inexperience or that he are playing above his bank roll. 2. If a decent player is short stacked he may have lost a good bit of money. This may put him on tilt, which is usually good for me. 3. Short stacked players tend to play at extremes. A lagish player tends to go all-in with desperation. A weak-tight player tends to become rockish. This increased predictability makes them easier to play against. 4. Other players at the table tend to play more aggressively against a short stacked player. This makes reading them harder, but increases my implied odds for really good hands. |

I agree with your points. The only thing that makes me sad is when someone else takes their remaining chips before I get a share...

Re: Do you like playing against short stacks?
Assuming you're talking about limit I love playing against shortstacks. I get the impression that its usually recreative players that buyin with shortstacks thinking either Ill get lucky and cash out while up big or Ill blow this away and try again next weekend.
