Default Re: Where are the easiest small stakes holdem games in Vegas??

Here's my experience for July 28-31. An off-strip casino called the Silverton had a great loose passive 2-4 limit on Thursday night. A friendly local/vacationer crowd stayed late until early morning even though the room is small. Floor staff were fans of 2+2. Friday MGM 3-6 game was no good. Dealers were unfriendly and berated new players; limit games simply were not juicy and the room wasn’t all that nice.

Luxor on a Saturday night was no good at all. While very tight passive, there were few to the flop and it was hard to get hands paid off. The Excalibur games looked great late into Saturday night, though I didn't play in them.

Mirage on Sunday afternoon was, surprisingly, great. I was able to find a really juicy 3-6 table that I parked myself at for hours. Dealer after dealer jokingly referred to my table as “the main event.” 4-6 to flop, even with a raise, and there were plenty of live straddlers and keep-you-honest players. Granted, some were tricky, but most were loose passive. I would highly recommend Mirage for quality of game and for overall experience.
