Default Pick my seat vs. mikel. Need help STAT.

It looks like we will be making another trip to LA in the next few hrs so I need some quick help. I have sat to mike's right the last two times we sat together and I felt at the time this was to my benefit. The games we seek out are often donktastic with limpers coming in with j4o, etc. That leads us to a lot of raising light and I felt like if I was on his left I would end up watching a lot of the action. Given the fact that we are both tight, it is always tougher to get involved with a raise in front of you.

I am starting to rethink this and wonder if postflop edge from having position on him is better. He will have to wonder when the raise is coming and have a tougher time controlling the table with me still to act.

What do you all think?

If I'm playing against a tight, unpredictable player like mike l., I like to sit to his left. If I'm playing against a tight ABC player, I like to sit to his right.
