Your play looks fine. You got all your money in the middle as the favorite. Jam the pot faster, and you either get nothing when you're ahead, or you have no chance to back off against a set, etc. That sort of misplay would merit more picking apart.

The wrong card came on the river. Not much you can do about that.

You can fold this pre-flop in a $6. Given the flop, I think the action is correct.

Thanks for the replies. I know in $6 anything goes and I have the bankroll to be playing higher limits, but I guess I'm just trying to learn and work my way up. I have decent numbers at the $6 over 200 games, but was planning on playing this level until the end of August.

Ok, 2 off the button, you certainly make this raise, though I might limp.

Flop: Hmm... Villain leads. The pot is t290, you've got t690 behind. I don't know if I like the raise to t200. However, this might hook Villain in better than an outright shove. I guess this is ok, but I would rather call or push.

I was actually looking for the call on the flop raise. I thought I has the best hand.

If you have the bankroll to move up then move up the rake in these $5's at party rape you. I fold this pf or limp. But I think your being to results oriented. I push on the flop with how you played it.
