Missed Connections - Party 5/10 6max
Time: Tonight, an hour ago.
You: in the 3 seat, bragging about how well a hand was played, quoting VIP, PFR and AF from your playerview. Constantly explaining why everybody was playing well or poorly (and getting it wrong at least half the time). Mentioning 2+2. Me: in the 5 seat, wishing you'd STOP TAPPING THE GLASS. |

Mentioning 2+2. [/ QUOTE ] Dammit! The first rule of 2+2 is that you DONT TALK ABOUT 2+2! |

(and getting it wrong at least half the time). [/ QUOTE ] I get annoyed at players who talk about 'stats' and VPIP and what-not because I don't want them to confuse the fish into thinking 'they are being watched' or something. but when someone is going to criticize particular strategy they usually ARE going to get it wrong. So I'm certainly not terribly concerned about that. Arguing about how one should have played a hand seems to be pretty common at online and B&M tables...and very rarely will someone who actually plays a decent tight-aggressive style chime-in with correct advice. |

Re: Missed Connections - Party 5/10 6max
I think people who talk about stats are not just silly wannabes but most of the time they are also on tilt. They are good to the game if only they can keep their mouth shut. However their incorrect plays come from the same source as their trash talking. Seems like vicious circle
