Default New to online

***UPDATE*** just saw the no rakeback zone post, I am not looking for "cheats" or other ways to "scam' I am looking for honest ways to maximize my take as well as definitions of some of these items, just so everyone is aware. My original post is below: [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

Hi, I am a longtime poker player having done well in the B&M world while living in the Phoenix area, casino just minutes away, so I never had the real need to play for cash online. I have toyed around with it to see hands at the micro-limits and such, but...
Anyway, I have moved to Salt Lake City, UT where the closest legitimate B&M game is over 114 miles away and so now the need to start playing online in order to facilitate my continued revenue in poker has become a priority.

I am not a beginning player and have made the study of my game and theory a large deal of my time. i do not say this to grandiose or anything, rahter to direct the responses to my query.

I understand the concept behind multi-tabling to increase revenue, but there are tools, and tricks that I read about in the forum (which I am also new to) that I cannot find a full answer for so I am seeking clarification.

Poker Tracker, from what I understand, it allows me to download hands so that I can analyze my play vs opponents. Is this accurate? I have also heard of heads-up displays, what are these?
Affiliate programs?
Rake-backs?
I think you see where I am going. I am not new to poker, but am new to online poker for cash and want to maximize my return.

Any suggestions you can offer would be really appreciated. thanks in advance. Flamers need not post.

poker tracker is essential for online play. lets u review how u played all ut hands. and gives stats galor on urself and anyone else who is involved in hands in ur database.
HUDs overlay said stats over ur tables while playing.
rakebacks give u back a % of the rake u pay (see classifides and banners for details)

NOW NOW, we have legitimate beer here (it just costs more and is in a state run liquor store, go figure). LOL!

MHIG = My Hand Is Good

means you win a showdown that you don't necessarily expect to (due to unusual river situation).
