Default Losing with AA longterm

Is it possible?

Imagine the worst possible limit poker player trying to do his best. Do you think he will lose longterm with pocket Aces?

This is a stupid question. Even if you never fold (or as long as you never fold) AA, you can't lose with it in the long run.

P.S. Greg, please?

I agree.

But I could lose with AA. Always raise preflop and then open-fold the flop!

yea ive had a crap run of aces, long term though aces is surely one of my most profitable hands. I was delt AA around 14 times this past 8 days, and I only won 4 of them, damn loose passive 10 handed tables lol

Dont mind the modpolice, I think this is a cool question.

I know pokerroom has stats on the EV of all the cards played by players, and it shows even bad players can still win with AA, KK, QQ, JJ, and AK/AQ. The rest they tend to lose with, probably because they go to far or not far enough.

I think you could make it a moderate winner if you never folded it and called it every chance you got, but you couldn't be a loser with it. Its too strong a hand.

(obviously we could make it a loser by folding every flop no matter what, so we'll ignore that and pretend we have to go to a showdown).
