if he is perceived by everyone to be overrated that might make him underrated.
everyone looks at ryan's w-l record but he played on a lot of bad teams.

I was clamoring for the M's to dump him for pitching years before they actually got rid of him. So what annoys me so bad? His post game interviews. Hat on backwards, looking past the camera, too cool for school attitude, obviously feeling like he'd rather be somewhere else. No respect for the people watching this and waiting to see what the future HOFer and Seattle baseball savior is going to say. Also, with Junior up, two outs, men in scoring position and the M's down by 1 run, I would always call the result--sky high pop up to second base. He rarely disappointed me there. He put asses in the seats and I'll still watch him hit, but he was a disrespectful punkass (spoiled) kid when he was here. I expected him to go on to greatness in Cincinatti. I hope his remaining years take write his HOF ticket and I wouldn't be sad to see him win a ring. But I still don't like him, as great as he was/is.

1) Clemens 2) A-Rod 3) Bonds 4) Sheffield 5) Carl Everett 6) Aaron Boone (though after last year the hate is leaving) 7) Jose Lima (not sure why. he annoys me when he talks) 8) Derek Lowe (cry. more.) Having trouble with the last two. So... 9) Adam Stern - Having more baserunning mistakes than basehits should automatically disqualify you from ever playing pro ball again. 10) Roberto Petagine - Made quite possibly the most Little Leagueish-looking play at first a couple games ago. God, my grandmother could have looked less retarded on that play.

I don't get the LeCroy hate. [/ QUOTE ] He never comes thru in clutch situations and he has a penchant for ending big innings with double plays because his lardass can barely make it to first base. The game last nite would be a perfect example, twice in the extra innings Mauer was IBBed to get to LeCroy who fouled out weakly to the catcher and hit into a double play. (I'm a Twins fan.)
