Default sufficient implied odds?

I was playing in my usual 4-way home game when this hand came up:

.25-.50 NLHE

UTG folds
Hero:QJs on the button raises to $2.50
Joe raises $6.00 more from SB
BB folds

Joe is a tight player who would only make this play with AA-JJ and maybe AK. He also has about $60 left in his stack after this raise and i think with the right flop i can get all of it. Is it worth it to call this raise hoping to get the right flop to bust the player? What if his raising standards in this spot are only AA-KK?

Default Re: sufficient implied odds?

So you need a huge flop to hit. WHen you call a re-raise with QJ suited, it's pretty easy to tell when you hit. Your a 4 to 1 underdog getting 10 times your money if what you say is true. It's not an awful call but most flops you can tell if you hit with QJ, AK10 flop, hearts flop, etc. QJx flop, if you know he has AA or KK is definitely better than him having QQ.
