It's an easy lay down, SB waking up here could mean a set 2 pair or a draw. You are ahead of the draw but what about 2 pair and the set, Personally I'm not liking the SB waking up all of a sudden.

Rob,

You make a good point here. My concern is that two live overcards getting 6-1 are actually getting pretty close to good odds to call here (probably fine with implied odds). Behind one caller, a second caller getting 7-1 is most certainly getting enough to call with 6 outs. So leading out opens up a slew of fine situations for my opponents.

I think we tend to look at this problem a little differently. For me, the determining factor is more field size rather than pot size. If the pot were three-handed, whether 5 SB or 8 SB, I'm leading out no matter what. Five-handed, whether 5 SB or 8 SB, I'm playing check and see because I'm looking to do whatever I can to increase my equity by cutting down the size of the field.

It just seems to me that the value of forcing two people out of a five-handed pot will be so immense that it is worth the risk in pretty much any pot, even one that's only 5 SB, though that may not be correct.

This pot isn't all that big. Your bet is perfect, and I'm happy I can fold here rather than get slowplayed and sucked in for a big bet on the turn.

I really just think the parlay here -- having a late position bettor with a hand that is worse than yours while the EP limpers have two distinct overcards -- is too big to worry about in a pot that is only currently 5SB and likely missed the EP limpers, who will frequently fold for a flop bet.

I think that's an excellent point.
