It's hard to split in stud high. Judging by the action it doesn't look good. It seems highly likely that seat 8 hit his flush. I would have probably bet 6th myself in the heat of the moment, but I do like the check. I can't see anything wrong with the hand, and I think Roland played it perfectly. Even if he doesn't win this pot, I think it's safe to say he's getting the maximum value out of this situation.

This is high-only. Tough to split a pot when you have trips.

I think calling along on third and fourth street is just fine. I probably wouldn't be able to resist throwing in the last raise on fourth street myself. Capping is fun.

By fifth, it is pretty clear that seat 1 has either a big pocket pair or brain damage. He can't have been rolled, and I wouldn't think he'd raise coming in with pocket Nines when there was a Nine gone. So you're absolutely right to jam fifth.

On sixth, it seems very likely that the third man has made a flush. Everything he has done to this point seems consistent with his having a flush draw. What else could he take all that heat with on fifth? I think checking and calling is the way to go on sixth. The pot is way too big to be folding trips on the river.

4th street is why I posted the hand. I just wanted to make sure that not raising on 4th was okay.
I didn’t raise because I thought it would basically give away my hand but I guess I was giving these guys too much credit.
Also, I was hoping to get a raise in on a big bet street (unless seat 8 caught another diamond).

Results: Seat 8 indeed had the flush; seat 1 started with 3A3.
