Final table AK hand
7 left in 20+2 $10,000 guaranteed on PP. As you can see I'm the shortest stack at this moment with 7 1/2 big blinds left. No read on UTG, I'd watched UTG+1 get a little lucky with a couple slightly questionable calls at another table. Given the action here, anyone fold or is this an auto-push?

Re: Final table AK hand
I personally probably would have pushed this, but I should know better. The reason is that you can safely assume that you are at best a coinflip! Now, if the competition is very strong, I would take this chance, if not, wait for a better spot!

Re: Final table AK hand
You're *the* small stack with 7.5 BBs left. I don't see how you can *not* push this PF.
Don't be results oriented. |

Re: Final table AK hand
This is a very easy push. If you're around even money, as you would have been in the actual hand, that's a GREAT situation with only 7.5 BB in your stack. There comes a point at which you can no longer wait indefinitely for that magical "better situation" and you are past that point.
You may also turn out to be dominating both opposing hands, in which case it is a mathematical disaster if you fold. I'm not sure why, when two people raise, it's so obvious that one of them "has to" have a pair. That isn't true at all in the real world. |

Re: Final table AK hand
There is no reason not to push this other than the fact that it (seemingly) didn't work out.
Stop second guessing yourself and just push these obvious situations. Kings |
