Just bet. I think he will check behind here WAY too often when he would have called a bet. Especially with an AF of 1.
If he made the flush too you also probably win more by bet/3bet.

Posting blind here......

This is not time for sexy. Reason: we do not have reason to believe villain is agg enough to bet river with a wide range of holdings here. Get sexy here against the more aggressive types. This guys stats do not automatically lend it self to a sexy river line, IMO. Against more passive types its better to get the lead in to prevent the higher chance of whiffery.

I find in 5-10 that one of the most reliable tells is when an aggressive player bets the whole way and then checks when the obvious draw comes on the river. This means he hit his draw 95% of the time.

I guarantee you the obvious draw hitting on the river is causing a check because someone's afraid of it more than 5% of the time

If you were a strong, aggressive player would you go into check/call mode because a flush draw hit against a 50/0/1 player who showed no strength at all on any street. Probably not.

That said, you are probably correct that this tell is not 95% accurate against all players, I was exagerating a little to emphasize my point. But against the right players, it is a very accurate tell and has saved me a lot of $$.

I was taking issue with the incorrect statement, not whether or not Villian actually will bet and call a raise with at least half the frequency he calls a bet.

Is this a standard turn bet or does this villian tend to fold unimproved on the turn? Just wondering as I would tend to check/call this turn and maybe I should be bet/calling it.
