Default Stars or Party for $215 MTT

What do most people prefer to play on for large MTT with $215 buyins? I plan on playing mostly satelites to qualify for these events. Thanks.

Stars is way better if you are looking for satellites. If you play good ring games ($100 NL or above) you will accumulate FPPs very quickly. I have won entry to 3 sunday tournies and have only spen $28 dollars doing it (I have gotten lucky, winning two of three $14 2-table SAGs and 1 of 3 3 table 500 FPP SAGs). But with the FPP satellites there is no comparison to Party satellites.

That would be my advice. Play some ring games, and when Saturday comes around, the satellites will be going like crazy and you should find multiple opportunities to get in.

Just don't suck when you play the 215 like I do.

I'm looking to try satellite my way in for fun before the end of the summer. I plan to play at party, because I think the structure is better and more familiar to me, especially the lack of antes.
