Villain could be 3-betting the turn with a variety of things, from QQ to AK of clubs. The hands you're ahead of will likely check through so I'd bet the river and probably call a raise expecting to lose the large majority of the time, but seeing a big pot on the table.

Bet/call IMO. QQ and AA no club will call here.

Peter,

Well, he's got AA-QQ, 77, or a flush. He knows you have the flush so bet/call sucks. Against reasonable opponents I would bet/fold b/c they know you have a flush. Against anyone else I check/call. Who's the opponent?

Well I'm putting my opponent on QQ here and maybe AKs as a possibility. I'd bet this river. You don't want to miss a bet.

Opponent is 19 VP$IP, 12 PFR, 1.5 AF.

I think if I bet, I should really be able to fold to a raise. However, I have a lot of trouble folding in those spots, so I think I should just checkcall.

Against an opponent with these numbers bet/fold is best. And, you're right, if you don't feel comfortable folding to a raise you check/call.

You can only bet this river if you're folding to a raise.

Yes, of course... but it is still a clear bet.
