Does someone who has a 1.1 to 1 chiplead over you usually call an allin with 58os? They do if they know the flop is gonna be 678 and the turn will be a 4. RIGGED! FINAL UPDATE
Ok. So, I got in 54- thanks to anyone who said "hey"- I didn't know there were so many of you guys out there. Anyways, this was really a lesson in variance. My first hour I made $510. After 16 SNGS, I went on a 1/15 ITM streak- However, I turned things around and ended up with...
ITM: 40.7% ROI: 36.4% 1st: 18.5% 2nd: 13% 3rd: 9.3% Total Profit (w/ rakeback): 1080 + 67 = $1147. -Jess |

I can only wait/hope for the day I'll be able to do that at the 55's. [/ QUOTE ] I know this sounds cliche, but if you work at it, you will be soon. I started off in December playing two $5 SNGS- patience, a willingness to learn, and lots and lots of playing have led me from there to the point where I am successfully beating the $55s. One more thing that I think is important is to simply have the balls to go for it. The two times I hesitated the most were when moving from 4 tables to 8 and when moving from the 33s to 55s (it was a big psychological jump). Each time, it really just took me saying "screw it" and giving it a try. If you arent willing to test your upper limits, then your journey to the top will be slow and arduous. Always give yourself the opportunity to succeed. -Jess |
