That' really strange.

WSOP ME 04'

Day 2- 755 left

I'm a little short, 13BB's.

UTG (big stack) opens (which he did 33% of the time)

MP(~40BB's) flat calls.

I push in the CO w/ 99.

UTG insta-folds.

MP hems and haws, then reluctantly calls w/ AQo.

AQJ flops, no help later and IGHN.

Strange.

Stay tuned for results, you will find it strange, regaring these 3 hands.

Regards,
Woodiguy

wood i think you played it fine it does look like you have a big pair and you have folding equity IMO. but i think some players at your table aslo might view it as a small pocket pair

Without any reads or table image considerations I would put you on a big pair for sure.

hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha.

The problem in my hand is that the original raiser, who i got to lay down also had AQ. It impeded my A rivering abilities.

looks like FPS to me. I suppose you planned to do this the second you limped in? I feel much better about this play if you say, "well, I wanted to knock out at least one of the callers to create some dead money and then go heads up for 45/55 chance of doubling up plus a little extra. Who knows, mabye he was getting raise-happy with KQ/AJ."
