[/ QUOTE ] You can't possibly be serious The reason that I don't steal, and the reason that many other morally conscious people don't steal, isn't because of a fear of getting caught, it's because we wouldn't want it done to us. Obviously, Klepton and others don't feel this way, but I'm quite sure they wouldn't be forgiving of someone that stole from them.

Treating people like assholes for something they've done and now said they regret is lame. It's sad how many people miss the point of this thread. I'd like to think I'm a pretty moral guy, and that I think stealing is a pretty horrible thing to do, but to focus on that and ignore the real intent of this post is just well... par for the course for the internet, but I'd hope that 2+2 was slightly smarter.

[/ QUOTE ] I don't see much regret here and no evidence that this wouldn't happen again if he were broke. It's easy to say you feel bad about doing this when you are now making $200/hr. I mean, its not like he was stealing to feed his family. He was stealing to support a gambling habbit.
