Hey All,
I'm learning to use Eastbays sng poker analyzer (it's great, btw) and I have some questions on a few specific hands. Hand #1 ICM tells me to push this, but I was on the bubble, and didn't want to bust out.It was +1% set at aggressive. No read. I don't have a read for most of my hands, unless something is glaringly obvious about the other player. That may change with time though. Push or fold?? #Game No : 2479730430 ***** Hand History for Game 2479730430 ***** NL Texas Hold'em $10 Buy-in + $1 Entry Fee Trny:14554111 Level:5 Blinds(75/150) - Thursday, August 04, 23:25:35 EDT 2005 Table Table 12111 (Real Money) Seat 9 is the button Total number of players : 4 Seat 5: Qunofhrtz ( $3005 ) Seat 7: ckphoto ( $925 ) Seat 9: jwag1re ( $2680 ) Seat 3: HERO ( $1390 ) Trny:14554111 Level:5 Blinds(75/150) ** Dealing down cards ** Dealt to HERO [ Ac 2s ] ckphoto folds. jwag1re folds. HERO folds. Qunofhrtz does not show cards. Qunofhrtz wins 225 chips Game #2479732387 starts. Hand #2 ICM says I should push this, and I think I should've too,in retrospect, but what do u think?? It was +1% set at aggressive. No reads. #Game No : 2479803300 ***** Hand History for Game 2479803300 ***** NL Texas Hold'em $10 Buy-in + $1 Entry Fee Trny:14554111 Level:8 Blinds(200/400) - Thursday, August 04, 23:37:24 EDT 2005 Table Table 12111 (Real Money) Seat 3 is the button Total number of players : 2 Seat 7: ckphoto ( $5485 ) Seat 3: HERO ( $2515 ) Trny:14554111 Level:8 Blinds(200/400) ** Dealing down cards ** Dealt to HERO [ Js 4s ] HERO folds. ckphoto does not show cards. ckphoto wins 600 chips Game #2479804880 starts. I realize that most of the time I should listen to what the software tells me to do, but I also realize there are exceptions, and I don't really have a clue of what they are. Thanks for your time and expertise. Shooby |

I would push both FWIW. In fact, +1% is probably a worst-case scenario, since in hand 1 the player may play a bit tighter than eastbay's aggressive settings.

Without reads I push both. I believe A is for average, not aggressive.

Good advice, and it only took 10 minutes to get. How awesome is that.

Folding in hand 1 shows a complete lack of understanding relative hand strength HU and proper bubble strat. This is a big mistake.
Hand 2 is usually a push, but not nearly as crystal clear as the first hand. It probably a moderate mistake at worst to not push the J4. edit: also the preset ranges are pretty terrible to use in these spots. |

I'm considering changing the buttons to numbers 1,2,3,4, and making them default to nothing, and making the user fill in.
No default is good for everything, and people seem to get a little too married to the defaults. eastbay |
