Re: Folding a set of Aces hurts.
You have to call this. Suppose that you were drawing to an OE straight draw with J10 and you were villain on this hand. Would you not be tempted to bet out the river in the hope that some bozo (:-)) might fold a set? Maybe he is calling down a pocket pair or caught a piece of the flop that he intended to call down anyway, so he decided to bet out on the river when the fourth spade flopped. Who knows? The only way to find out is to call and take a note of the hand for future reference.
If you feel really adventurous and think he might fold a small spade (doubtful with your read) you could even consider a raise. I think I'd have to have a few beers before I attempted that though. |

over 67 hands CO's VPIP was 50%, PFR was 3%, and his postflop AF was .39. [/ QUOTE ] There's a good enough chance that this is Microposter, applying Clarkmeister's theorem. Call. |

It would've worked better if I stuck a regular's name in it instead, but I don't know anyone well enough to do that. I figured Microposter has taken plenty of lumps by now and is probably used to it. |

Re: Folding a set of Aces hurts.
If villian bet into several opponents on the river here I could see folding as you can't stand any overcalls here.
