Default Andrew Black doing well at Grand Prix de Paris

glad to see he is back on his feet and doing well after the very cruel beats he took at the WSOP. i was really pulling for the guy. his skill was head and shoulders above the rest of the WSOP final table, including Matusow.

Yes, i'm sure winning $1.75 mil must have been a real burden on him...

In any case, he only had one real bad beat at the final table vs Dannenmann. The one that lost him the chip lead vs Kanter was when Kanter flopped a set of Kings and ended with a full boat...had him all the way. Then, the hand he went out on was AK vs 1010, all-in preflop. Hardly a bad beat.

He finished just outside the money, I think we'll be seeing a lot more of him at final tables with his very aggressive style.

Grand Prix de Paris sounds like something Michael Schumacher should be entered in.

Stop being a moron, they were hardly "beats" at all. *rolls eyes* And he also showed how classless he was by walking out and not giving any interviews having just won $1.75 mil. Give me a freakin' break already.

Actually he did give some interviews. When he was knocked out he didn't give an interview to CP straight away because he doesn't believe that players should be interviewed straight after being knocked out. But he came back later and gave some interviews, some of which can be found here:

and a small mention here here:

And for the record, the guy is a class act!
