I think you did right in hand 1 to bet the turn. You still have to protect against overcards.
He could have semi-bluff-raised turn with Aq (likely cold-calling hand), or lower pp.
I`d call turn and check-call river.

I believe WA/WB really applies more to HU situations. That being said, I like the way you played hand 1. Hand 2, I would probably bet the flop, hoping for the button to raise and protect your hand.

#2 I fold preflop. The rest looks ok.

If OP were UTG and first to act and you said you'd fold PF, I'd say that you can limp in here. But with Hero in LP and limpers already in before him, folding here is very bad. You must play.

Huh? Fold preflop, are you nuts?

A8s is usually my cutoff for limping.

I want more limpers to limp A6s. I'd much rather limp something like 86s here.

ewwwwwwwww

I have to call you out on this one, you think the 3 extra straights you make is better than the times you make TP in an unraised pot?

Hand 1:

I don't think the WA/WB line would really apply here, since there are much fewer hands that you beat that are going to bet. If you check, any K is betting, any AA-JJ, 88 is betting, and only maybe A8, 99, and 77 are betting that you beat. Since villain is a calling station, it makes it much less likely that he'll bet the weaker of those hands (i.e. the ones you beat), so I like the bet/fold line, as you can be pretty sure a calling station has the K there when he raises the turn.

Hand 2: I like the application of the WA/WB line, and since the player is decent, I think a fold is fine on the river. Very few decent players who don't get out of line are going to be raising the river with a hand that doesn't beat TPWK. The only exception would be if villain is good enough to recognize the WA/WB line, correctly put you on Ace-low, and bluff raise your river bet, but that is unlikely.

Hand 1 - I play the same.
Hand 2 - I don't like this. With an A and K on the board I don't see us extracting value from JJ or QQ this way. I would bet the flop so it doesn't get checked through and if raised I would probably fold.

These both look perfect but Hand 1 is not WA/WB, its slightly ahead or way behind.

I really think you misread hand 1, I think your the one way ahead here! Him having a K is unlikely, more likely = A8 or some big cards.
