Default How bad do I play monsters?

Lately, I feel like I've been missing tons of value with some huge hands. Here's 2 from today:

Party Poker NL $100 10-handed
All 3 of us involved had about $120.

I'm in the big blind with
Q [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] Q [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

One EP limper, button limps, I misclick 'check', and we see a flop of:
A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Q [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
Checks around

Turn: Q [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
I check, EP checks, button bets $2, I call, EP calls.

River: 2 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
I check with the intention of checkraising allin, but somehow ATo checks it down. Did I misplay this that badly, or was this just dumb luck? I mean generally the 2nd nuts should be betting the river.

Here's another one:
Party Poker NL $100 max
Again me and villain similar stacks around $150

I'm in the big blind with Q [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 10 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]
Villain limps from MP, small blind completes, we see a flop of:
A [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] J [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] K [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]
SB checks, I check, Villain bets $2, SB folds, I call.

Turn: 3 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
I check again, Villain bets $5, I call again (?)

River: 7 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
I again check somehow, Villain checks behind with his flopped straight.

I was pretty disgusted with the way I played both of these. I think with the royal I should've led for like half the pot on the river. Any other suggestions for either hand?

Just bet in hand 1. Anyone with an ace will call, anyone without is folding or not betting much anyway. You missed a lot of value by not betting here I think...if they don't have any aces, then you are not going to win much anyway.

hand 2 - I think i'd have open pushed the river. My thinking is that you made it looked like a missed draw...you called acting like you have a naked diamond, it missed, and now you are bluffing desperately at the pot. I think that has a better chance of getting called than a value bet, because it doesn't look like one.

Nice try, but this has to be a joke.

Hand #1 - bet something, bet something, push on the river, any ace is calling you.

Hand #2 - Wonderfully played,
IF your site has a high hand bonus
AND that bonus is significant and
IF you have to showdown your hand to win said bonus.
Well done.
