Re: 2 calldowns
Hand 1: I play it the same.
Hand 2: I fold the turn. This is the worst possible board for your Queens versus a TAG who capped preflop, especially from UTG. Occasionally you will be up against JJ or TT, but not enough for a call down to be profitable. |

Re: 2 calldowns
I dont like either, I think you can find a fold on the turn in both hands.
Hand 1 your dealing w/ a tag who very well could have a flush draw but most likely doesn't since he wouldnt get very aggro w/ Qh or lower. So your almost always losing here, i might even fold the flop in hand 1. hand 2 there is no reason to go any further than the turn, he wouldnt not bet flop/turn into you w/out A most likely given stats. |

Re: 2 calldowns
Hand 1 is tough and player dependent. He could easily have a naked heart draw, but more likely its a heart draw with something else (a pair, or a straight draw). OTOH, his flop raise often means an ace that wants to end the hand early. Did you consider leading the turn and folding to a raise? I don't think draws will raise the turn that often here, assuming it isn't a LAG (and this guy doesn't sound too crazy). If he just calls my turn bet, and a safe card fell on the end, I'd consider either bet/fold or check/call (check/call seems FAR superior, since it gives the hands we do beat a chance to make a desperation bluff, whereas bet/fold does not).
Hand 2: fold the turn. You came, you raised, and you got outflopped/out-turned. Call it a day and make a note that villain doesn't slowplay heads-up. |
