River: (5.16 BB) 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">BB bets</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises</font>, <font color="#CC3333">BB 3-bets</font>, Hero folds.

Final Pot: 10.16 BB

How bad did i mess this one up. Im pretty sure I should have raised the turn? Then what to a turn 3 bet? The .8 AF originally sold me on the fold. But his river AF is 2.75

It all made sense to me when I did it, but now im playing back the hand on PT and saying "yuck"

I like a turn raise here. A lot of players will call a flop bet with any pair, or nothing, then bet the turn without improvement to induce a fold if they don't believe you. He could have had any K, or even something like 10J believing his 10 was good. I raise the turn here, and call if he bets the river. If he three-bets the turn, I muck.

why not just call the turn and river? the donk is odd...but we do have top pair on a drawless board. id rather not fold this.

Raise the turn. Call down if 3-bet.

For those who wish to point out that villain's Aggression Factor is 0.8:

(i) it's only 400 hands. Aggression factors may not have fully converged yet.

(ii) After the turn 3-bet, Hero will be getting 8:1 to draw to improve - not to mention the times he's actually ahead anyway.

(iii) After calling the turn, and having villain bet the river. Hero will be getting 10:1 for a river call - pretty good for having TPTK with AK.

(iv) I've seen AF=0.8 players make 'moves' from time to time. Probably enough to justify calling down here.
