So I'm surfing channels this afternoon before I start working, and I come across John Daly on Playing Lessons From the Pros on The Golf Channel. He is wearing blue jeans and playing a public course, I absolutely love it. Discuss.

If you ever go to a Tour event, make sure that you watch him tee-off from the teebox at least once. You'll probably be able to get really close (unlike Tiger), and it is [censored] awesome.

I was at at the Buick (in San Diego) last year, the one he won, on Friday. We walked with his group for a few holes and saw him tee off on #2 I think, and he hit driver(everyone else hitting like 2 iron) his driver definately makes a different sound than the other guys drivers. Also saw him get up and down from about 20 yards right of # 9 green with the pin in the back, there was about 7 feet of green and he was below the green saw maybe the top half of the pin, his short game definately underrated.

I love how he doesn't hide who he is. Chain smoker and alki....he says he even plays better with a couple drinks in him.
