How I won a 22....hand 2( should I call with 55 on level 1)
due to popular request Ill edit( if theres more berating ill stop altogether). I think this is an intresting debate...I feel folding is better because theyre might be a reraise behind me, however a case can be made for calling. I won a small pot with 55( i was in the BB and won without improving) I got 55 dealt again .

Ugh. This idea is Terri Schiavo. Will someone please pull the feeding tube?
P.S. I call, fold to any sort of meaningful preflop reraise, and play NSNB on the flop. |

Anyone who folds this hand is losing value. Period.

Raise pots are where they pay off the most! In limped pots your have to hope someone's garbage hand hit something like 2 pair. In a raised pot you can hope to stack someone's TPTK or something much more often.

Of course others will disagree with me. In level 2, a 3xBB raise is 90 chips or typically over 10% of your stack which is not worth it. You could call a raise 100% of the time with a small pocket pair if: 1) The bet is less than 7% of your stack. 2) You do not expect a raise behind you. There are other considerations (table dynamics, post flop aggression, etc.) that would go into a call with a less deep stack but the above two statements are enough to start working from. Here it's a clear call if #2 holds (which it does at the typical $22 table). |

I'd call out of the blinds and maybe in the button. On that position I'm only calling 88+ cause they flop overpair sometimes. Of course I may be wrong but I think these small pairs get you into a lot of trouble. |
