Re: Heads Up TD
[ QUOTE ]
I think folding 2w is a serious leak unless villain is much better than you in later rounds. [/ QUOTE ] Yeah, I agree. I'm not sure what I was thinking there. What I wrote would apply more to hands like 45 or 34. They're hands that have some value, but are close to marginal. |

Re: Heads Up TD
[ QUOTE ]
Play against me. Also, don't play .25/.50 as the rake will kick your butt. [/ QUOTE ] FWIW, I have ONLY played TD 2-7 a couple times total, and both of those times on GamesGrid. But their .25/.5 TD2-7 table is only raked when pots go over $5 ($0.25). It is not common for pots to get that large, at least over my small sample size. So I find that level a good way to learn without a significant rake. What is the UB rake structure like? |

[/ QUOTE ] The page listing the UB rake is here: http://www.ultimatebet.com/rules-strategy/rake.html In the .25/.50 games the rake is 5 cents for each $1, capped at 10 cents heads up. Nearly every pot will be raked this amount. At GG the rake not kicking in until $5 helps at the .25/.50 game but it is not capped HU, so it's a little steep at the 1/2 game. $10 average pot = $0.50 rake on most hands, while UB caps the HU rake at 0.25. |
