Default Suited speed cloth or billiard cloth?

Which is better and more durable for use on a poker table? Which holds up better against spills?

I was looking online today, but I could not find the cloth that I remember, with Teflon coating applied.

Any help would be appreciated
LL

I don't really have an answer, but I can tell you this: Suited speed will make your table look beautiful!!!

I have the suited cloth on my table and I think it's great. Very durable and cleans easily as long as you put the closed cell volara foam underneath. Try YAT.com and ask for jason. He'll answer any questions you may have.

I built my table with the generic speed cloth and it has been used for about 500 hours and looks as good as new.

Also, if you order anything from there, get one of these (seam tape) for me.

Suited speed cloth is the way to go. I have had lots of compliments on it from players. YAT has a nice selection of colors to choose from. You won't be disapointed.

Just one?

Have you ever cleaned your cloth, or had it cleaned?

Hey Larry

I just picked up 2 sheets of suited speed cloth for $49 per.

Shipping costs were reasonable as well.

I bought it here:

http://store.casinodiscountsupplies.com/potacl.html

I haven't received or installed it yet, but from my experience in casinos it is definitely good bang for the buck.

I am building two holdem tables that should be done by the end of next week, if you like I will let you know how it works out.

Prior to that I had been using the 21 OZ championship grade billiard felt, which is very nice, but the differences are purely aesthetic. The both function the same and the durability and lifespan aspects are very similar given the application.

The billiard cloth is about $100 a sheet, for the difference it really isn't worth it.

true billiard cloth is made of wool, which means it's itchy on your arms (without an armrest) and technically should be dry cleaned. I use a billiard cloth in my game and it works great. I've never tried to wash it though.
