In my mind, it has nothing to do with judging anyone. It has to do with him wanting to improve his quality of life. Losing that weight probably added 20 years to his life and made them a hell of a lot better as well. My mom had the surgery and it had nothing to do with the way people looked at her, it had everything to do with wanting to live to see grandkids and be able to do an honest days work without feeling like you were going to die.

FWIW, I'm not fat, so this isn't a defensive post.

dont you think its interesting that has mass changed so dramatically? i am...i dont consider myself to be shallow, but i thought it was impressive.
