Re: Flopped top two...
That's a horrible position to be in. So SB has two pair or a set. Because he's so loose preflop, I think you can just average over all hands that give two pair or a set, and this gives you the odds to call down. So I'd cap the turn (because you've got the button acting behind you), then check-call the river.

Re: Flopped top two...
Looking at the hand now should I call the 3-bet to see if button caps?

Re: Flopped top two...
Tough spot. The more I think about it, the more I think you are behind here.
I know these guys, they usually dont raise the turn without at least two pair. The passive SB went for a check-raise and went with it although it already got raised. Thats always a monster, especially from a passive player. Button might have a wide range of hands, you probably have him beat. His most likely hands are A6, A3, AT imo. There also are no straight or flush draws available so I can really only put SB on a set here. You have 4 outs to make the nut full house. Your pot odds arent enough to call 2 and you have no clue if button is going to cap and how much you have to pay on the river to show this down. At first glance I thought folding would be terrible, now I think it truly blows but you have to do it. Interesting hand.. |

Re: Flopped top two...
Oh come on now, folding is terrible. TT usually 3 bets preflop, and you have one of the tens. I dont think 33 is peeling this flop. So you are very worried about 66. Generally, the SB could play A6 or A3 the same way. The button could just being raising an ace, its 1-2 6 max after all. Either cap and lead or call and check/call the river, never fold.

its 1-2 6 max after all. [/ QUOTE ] That was pretty much my point. Its not long ago I played there and a check-reraise by a "calling station" means definitely monster. I doubt he will do that with 2pair. If the read on villain wouldnt be so passive or only over like 50 hands, I would say folding is terrible too. At a limit over 1/2, I wouldnt ever be able to lay this one down because the players are more aggressive. |

Re: Flopped top two...
1.38 aggression for his VPIP means he has a little bit of aggro in him, no? The check-3bet is quite the power move though. I still don't think I can find a fold either, however.
