Re: whats your line?
Oops...didn't see the monotone flop.
I think you don't have enough invested to go broke here...could be a small flush or a small set that's trying to protect his pot. I'd let it go. |

Re: whats your line?
I can't decide whether he has a hand or not.
A small flush makes this bet to protect against a naked [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] overcard, but so does a bluff. I think it may cost too much to find out. I want to fold but it feels horribly weak.. A small flush *may* also c/r here, but I know I lead out if I'm hold a small flush. My worst fear is that he's holding A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]Kx, and he's freerolling. Too many monsters under this bed. Ug, not a fun spot. Regards, Woodguy |

Re: whats your line?
I deciced he wanted me to fold so i did the opposite. You think given the situation it was a fair thing to do? Or was it one of thus 'you haven't invested enough for the risk' I'm not really any good in tournaments, only in cash games. I know in MTTs pushing small edges isn't really the best thing to do, but i'm having a hard time turning it off.
thoughts? even if i knew his hole cards should i have done what i did as only a very slight favorite. ghalahad_187 raises (3020) to 3020 ghalahad_187 is all-In. pauillac calls (1580) pauillac is all-In. ** Dealing Turn ** : [ Qd ] ** Dealing River ** : [ 3s ] Creating Main Pot with $5135 with pauillac Creating Side Pot 1 with $740 with ghalahad_187 ** Summary ** Main Pot: 5135 | Side Pot 1: 740 Board: [ Ks 5s 7s Qd 3s ] ghalahad_187 balance 740, bet 3270, collected 740, lost -2530 [ Kh Ac ] [ a pair of kings -- Ac,Kh,Ks,Qd,7s ] EricXavier balance 2535, didn't bet (folded) biffy balance 1960, lost 25 (folded) pauillac balance 5135, bet 2530, collected 5135, net +2605 [ Qs Qh ] [ a flush, king high -- Ks,Qs,7s,5s,3s ] kearsarge3 balance 2620, didn't bet (folded) bigmommy1 balance 2780, didn't bet (folded) MUSHMASTER balance 3213, sits out biggblindman balance 982, lost 50 (folded) cbdallas balance 810, didn't bet (folded) steeler192 balance 1490, didn't bet (folded) |

Re: whats your line?
Good read.
You were a 53/47 favorite when the chips went in, so the dead $$$ makes this an easy move if you could see his cards. Regards, Woodguy |

Re: whats your line?
I would bet more pre flop than 1.5BB.
On a flop like this I would fold since you have no spades and it is too expensive to call his bet. |
