Your line with an overpair vs an aggressive opponent
100 NL 2/3 blinds
Hero $600 Villan $200 Hero raises to $13 UTG with Q [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Q [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 4 cold calls, blinds fold. Flop comes 9 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 7 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 5 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Hero bets out $40, villain calls $40, rest fold - heads up. Read on villain - I hit a gutshot straight against him earlier to take a big pot off him so he might be itching for another confrontation. Turn is a 9 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] What's your line? |

Re: Your line with an overpair vs an aggressive opponent
Can I really fold to any raise considering his stack size and how much i've put into the pot by betting out $60 on the turn?

I would consider limp reraising this preflop as well as checking this flop.

Re: Your line with an overpair vs an aggressive opponent
If I decide to bet this turn $60, I would probably check any river and fold to a bet if the river is a [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] and call any bet if the river is not a [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
