To all who has experience in these games: (vegas only)
typically, how much do you see people buying in for and at what venue? also, how much is a normal bring in bet at these games? |

Re: Vegas uncapped 1/2NL games
At Binion's I've generally seen most people buy in for $100 or $200. You do get an ocassional guy buying a rack of red.
At Wynn it is more like $200 - $500 and I've seen one guy buy 2 racks of red. Mike |

Re: Vegas uncapped 1/2NL games
At Binions I saw people buying for anywhere from 100-300, but some of the stacks at the table were over 1000. Seems that so many people are used to the 100 games they just buy in with what they are comfortable with.
I watched the game while waiting for a seat and most people would raise like 6x pre flop and then bet 25-50 after the flop. I only saw a couple of pots get above 300. I heard that one pot had over 2000 in it...but I wasn't there so dont' know. |

Re: Vegas uncapped 1/2NL games
When I was staying at Wynn's during the 2nd week of July (at the poker rate) the 1/2 NL game wasn't. It is now 1/3 NL min buy in $100. There is no maximum in any of their NL games I was told. Since I am not an artist I stuck with their very firendly and loose fixed limit games.
