Getting quads in itself is rare enough, but getting them against a maniac, with someone else hanging around (apparently) chasing a flush must be nice.
The last time I remember winning a big pot with quads, I had to catch my one-outer on the river to beat my opponent's aces full. (He had a slowplayed AA that he woke up with when he turned a set; I had a flopped set of 7's and rivered quads.) |
