I lost the kitties in the custody fight, several Utah county animal control officers were called to testify. I didn't think it was in my best interests to press the matter. Two of the cats immediately had TRO's filed.

I play four games of $2K buy-in NLH. $10K is underfunded for my current play.

I would do what you are doing possibly reduce your risk and continue to use PT,PV or PokerAce ..almost all serious players are using these tools right now.

[/ QUOTE ]

From the discussion here in the past year (??), I wouldn't agree that all "serious" players are using these tools.

Perhaps at the higher limits MS and yourself (??) are playing that may be true.

It seemed to me that 2+2 was pretty much "on the fence" regarding the use of these tools.

No, 2+2 has never been "On The Fence" regarding PokerTracker specifically.

But, anyway, I will point out that PokerTracker itself is nto a banned product, but if you use it while you play or have the client open, it could be based on what I've read.

PokerEdge is clearly banned and I would think PlayerView and GameTime+ should be since they are only useful if you are using them while playing.

I know, I know, just give them up. I can't give up PokerTracker. It has allowed me to play several levels above my ability for a couple of years. I will take tougher games at a slightly lower limit for a much lower earn if it means there is no danger to my BR. My big fat bankroll has protected me when times have been tough and I plan to protect it now in it's time of need.

The people who are making money solely because of PokerTracker, but who can't move down for their own good when their crutch is removed and forced to play using their meager, innate skills which have gone underdeveloped? If such people existed, I would be licking my lips.

What good does licking your lips do? I just don't get it.
