Default Intercasino Poker-If you value customer service stay away

Another cardroom that was started up by a casino, several other card rooms resolve there. I have made several thousand dollars there and played many, many hours and then this situation came up. First let me say that you sometimes get bonus dollars with deposits or whatever but those dollars are never able to be played in the cardroom, only the casino. So you have all this money in your account until you try to sit down at a poker table and then its not available so for me it just sits around in my account until I finally take the time to go to the casino and blow it away on one hand or so of blackjack to get it out of my account. Up until a week or so ago I used my Bank One debit card to deposit as it was accepted everywhere but now they arent allowing deposits to gambling sites. So after my most recent cashout I didnt leave enough in and busted out. I took a break for a couple of weeks from Intercasino Poker and played many other sites. I play 40-50 hrs a week on about 3 sites simultaneously. I decided it was time to get back into ICP and found a way to deposit funds via Citadel which I have used a few times before at other sites. The funds are always available immediately. I deposit 50 bucks which is a very small amount and go sit at a table and try to access my money. It tells me there is no money in my account. I go to live help and try to get an answer and the guy says he will check into my account. After an hour of no answer I try to see whats up in my account. I notice that the balance of the funds that arent available for poker (this is the deposit bonus money you can only use in the casino) is a little over a hundred. I go and blow it on a couple of hands of blackjack to clear the account. I finally get fed up with the live helps lack of a response so i go to the website and track down a number and call support. I told them of my predicament and they told me that the money had been credited immediately to the casino funds but wasnt available to play poker with. I asked them why because this wasnt the way it was at all the other sites and they gave me some excuse but I realized that i had just blown my 50 along with the other casino money!!!!! I told them this was very misleading as I was in the poker site when i requested this money and had to go to another website altogether in order to clear out the bogus casino money and why did they put it there and not in my poker account. I said it was obviously a mistake on my part but that anyone might make the same mistake and was there any way they could give me a bonus or something to make up for it as i had played hundreds of hours at their site in the past and would like to continue. They said in effect, "Hey, you screwed up, we didnt" and said they couldnt help me. I asked them if they wanted to let 50 bucks keep me from playing there and they said hey thats your choice. So I chose to delete their site and let you guys know their attitude with regards to customer loyalty. I realize that technically the mistake was probably mine but I contend that it was quite misleading and at the very least totally uncool to make you screw around with that freaking casino in the first place. Anyway, if you guys want to play there or currently do, be careful about deposit methods and make sure that the funds dont go into the casino bogus money that isnt good anywhere else. Theres no telling how much rake money they have made from me in the past but I can assure you it was well in excess of 50 dollars as I have cashed out profits in excess of 4 grand there in a couple of months.

Default You think thats bad..True poker is worse with C.S

If you followed any of the threads below you would see that true poker banned me and my roommate from playing basicly over a 14.00 comp. True poker would not know good customer service if it hit them upside the head. Very similiar to this intercasino thing. I email true poker and they basicly say tough.. You dont like it leave.. You don't do what we say leave. So I said screw them. They think they have so many players or something. They hardly have any games going, and when they do they are not nearly as good as they used to be. So for 14 bucks true poker pissed of two good customers who contributed thousands in rake and their site is getting bad publicity.

So you see ICP and true poker are very similiar -they both lost customers over very minute amounts. A lousy buisness decision as they will be losing lots of money in the long run.

informer -

While I totally see your point of view, and I probably would be equally annoyed that a site I was using and frequented decided to ban me, I believe it is time to move on. Turn your back and don't look back.

You've said your peace in your posts in the other heading. I feel for you (personally, I never played truepoker, so no valid comments from me). They know they lost your business. They feel that is fine. You should think that is fine. Hopefully this topic can die here.

Years ago, Pepsi pissed me off when they allowed me to drink their then-new flavor "Clear pepsi". They haven't won me back since.

Default You ought to rethink this . . . .

Picabo, you've made 4K and you're walking over $50 that was admittedly your mistake? Years ago a business parter offered my solid advice which I have never forgotten. He said "NEVER get mad at your money".

You really should set your over-sensitive ego aside and rethink your position. If you've made 4K this is a business decision, and should thus be absent emotion and ego.

Finally, if you'll notice there are spaces between my prose. Doesn't this make my reply easier to read? This format incorporates something called a paragraph, which might also be helpful to you.

On second thought, I've just begun playing on ICP so maybe it would be better if you retired from the site. MY ego doen't want any of MY money to be part of your next 4K in profits. Good luck!

Another thing I hear often is the claim that "I've given sooo much money in rakes, it's ridiculous they'd let $50..." blah blah blah.

Hey, I've paid thousands of dollars in rent to my landlord. They don't owe me a free room. I've paid thousands of dollars in food at the supermarket. They don't owe me a steak. I've probably paid thousdands of dollars at mcdonalds. They don't owe me a free happy meal.

You choose to do business at a place. If they screw you (you think), then stop doing business at that place. But don't think they owe you anything.
