The boards here are a lot busier nowadays than they were when I stopped playing about 3 years ago. Good stuff. I've been lurking for a couple weeks and just opened a Paradise account today. Still a bit rusty but hoping to clear the cobwebs quickly. A simple hand for you perusal/dissaproval:

First time playing with strangers in a couple years. $0.50/$1.00 at Paradise. Only been sitting for a few hands so no reads yet.

Turn is 7 [img]/forums/images/icons/club.gif[/img] [ K [img]/forums/images/icons/heart.gif[/img] A [img]/forums/images/icons/heart.gif[/img] 7 [img]/forums/images/icons/spade.gif[/img] ] so of course I bet. UTG calls and a late player calls.

River is J [img]/forums/images/icons/spade.gif[/img] [ K [img]/forums/images/icons/heart.gif[/img] A [img]/forums/images/icons/heart.gif[/img] 7 [img]/forums/images/icons/spade.gif[/img] 7 [img]/forums/images/icons/club.gif[/img] ] and I bet. UTG raises. LP calls.

Call or raise?

I see no upsides to re-raising, I would just call. You are splitting with any 7 other than a full house and Q 10 just made a straight.

Anyway, I'd just call here. A river raise on the .50/$1 tables is likely a decent hand, as they don't expect you to fold when you already have money committed.
