Default Anyone Play in Black Hawk, CO

Don't know how this would work but I am looking for someone to team up with to improve each others play. This is NOT a team to cheat, but to watch and point out bad play, tells, and chasing, etc. Discuss hands, players, reads, everything. Just figure two heads are better then one.

I play mostly on Sat. at mountain high. Very soft and decent games, etc.

If you tried something like this and can give pros and cons please do. Maybe it won't work.

Scott

I play there on occasion, but it's not like I go there every Saturday afternoon. It's usually just when I'm itching to actually touch cards and play live and there's a chance that I can get away from the wifey.

I've actually started to come to the conclusion that there's not much more I can do at the 2-5 game there and that maybe I'll just start playing tournaments up there and leave the cash games for online, with the exception of just going with a friend or something for fun. It is actually a little more fun sometimes, because you can just play a lot more hands up there than you can in a normal game because it's so passive and you can almost always see the flop for $2 multi-way and then pound on them for the max $5 when you hit.

I like Mountain High, too, and they generally have the best action to my liking, although the action is pretty soft anywhere you go up there. I'd check out the Gilpin, though, if I were you. They've got the nicest physical room and they're a room on the rise. They're relatively new to the poker scene, though, so they're not filling as many tables yet as the other casinos.

Do a search in here - there's usually a thread about Black Hawk in here every once in a while. In fact, there's one going on right now still on the front page of this forum. Something about non-smoking rooms in CO.

The casino doesn't matter to me. I have heard of the Gilpin but not sure which building it is.

Mostly looking for the constructive criticism.

Yeah, I know. I just thought I'd give a shout out for The Gilpin. It's on Main street in BH - it's not a great location, but it's not like it's hard to find, either. I'm sure you can find it pretty easily. They've got valet parking on the other side of the street (the right side if coming from through BH, the left if coming from Central City).
