Top two pairs on flop
B&M 1/2 NL game
I have about $250 MP2 has $150 (no read) BB has me covered (seems solid, somewhat aggressive) Preflop: Hero is Button with K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. UTG limps, MP1 limps, MP2 limps, hero raises to $10, SB folds, BB calls, UTG folds, MP1 calls, MP2 calls. Flop: ($43) K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (4 players) BB checks, MP1 checks, MP2 bet 15$, Hero raises to $50, BB calls, MP1 folds, MP2 folds. Turn: ($158) 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] BB checks, Hero? |

Re: Top two pairs on flop
I'd bet again, maybe 2/3. If you get raised you dump it. Check behind on any moderately frightening river.

Re: Top two pairs on flop
2/3 pot and you are stuck...thats 150 of your 250 stack in with top-2 and no completed flush draw

Re: Top two pairs on flop
opponent could be donking with a big king, calling with a set, or a FD. i worry most about a FD here than anything else
i say you are probably ahead unless hes got JsQs, but i would think all the money goes in on the flop with that hand. i say push |

2/3 pot and you are stuck...thats 150 of your 250 stack in with top-2 and no completed flush draw [/ QUOTE ] That was my dilemma at the time. Pot is $158 and I have about $190 behind me. If I bet 2/3 of the pot, I am left with 90$. Anyone folds to a reraise on the turn or a bet after a blank river? |
