The above is a footnote from one of my affiliates newsletters

[/ QUOTE ]

Where is your affiliate geting his information? Is this his interpretation or did he get a specific e-mail from Party?

[ QUOTE ]
If they detect you are using any of these programs

[/ QUOTE ]

All of the current information out there, indicates that this statement is an exaggeration.

Be that as it may, I also have significantly reduced my bankroll at party due to the circumstances.

I withdrew all of my money from Party and Empire a few weeks ago. I'm playing at Stars now, and don't intend to go back to Party until this whole thing is sorted out.

[/ QUOTE ]

i opened an account at stars because of the discons and because of a bonus and i have to say i much prefer party. The games are much softer on party.

if given the option of hassle free poker or money making poker, i will choose the money maker every time.

The rules of not using "extra help/electronic devices, etc" while playing are not much different that at B&M casino. Post-processing of information is fine IMHO.

If you are getting a rakeback deal at any Party skin, I am not sure that the edge you get by using using these programs is not offset by the lost in RB at Pokerstars.

MS I saw the title of your post and I thought for sure your postwas going to be about the connectivity issues at Party .I know you usually play large buy-in PLHE and NLHE games and I'm surprised you didnt even mention it. I'm playing the $200 NL 6MAX and some nights I just cant even play bigbet poker at all with all the connectivity issues.. Just too risky getting timed-out on a large pot.

Getting back to message as of right now I dont think Party has taken a stand overtly against Playerview and definetly not PokerTracker. I would do what you are doing possibly reduce your risk and continue to use PT,PV or PokerAce ..almost all serious players are using these tools right now.

I'm sure playing $400-$1000 NL/PL you are getting at least 5-8 cents per hand in rakeback if you arent you should be. Chill out a bit I think you may be over reacting. Party knows your history with them I doubt they would ever have the gall to grab all your funds..it would be a pr nightmare for them.the poker cognescenti would raise a mighty rukus if Party started grabbing reputable players' funds.
I play at PokerStars also. I datamine 24/7 with StarSpy right now and use PokerAce or GT+. Stars is not too keen on StarSpy as I'm sure you know PT Forums-PS' response to StarSpy, Other Apps.

need any help pm me

Run poker tracker on a 2nd PC and share out the folder your hand history's are being saved on your playing PC. Party will not be able to detect this because you have the application running on a seperate machine from the poker client. I have always done this because I have always had 2 desktops and a laptop and found it easier to play multiple games on one machine without having to get a dual monitor setup. I had the extra machine anyways and had poker tracker running on it.

As always, a infomation laden post goodguy. I didn't write about Party's connectivity issues because it wasn't in my best interest. I look for the no DP tables and I like to find one of those that seems to have more trouble than the rest. That's right I'm looking for trouble. My connection is DSL and my machine is very fast. I have major lag, but rarely don't get to act on a hand. I believe on these problem tables with the server issues and the pot going to the best hand or who gets reconnected fastest, I have an edge over many players. If I take a big beat, oh well, that's poker.

Just yesterday I found StarSpy and the forum posts. I'm behind the curve and will take your offer of PM help advice if the need arises. ty

The affiliate is one of, if not the biggest, Party affiliate. I know nothing about their level of "in the know" except what I posted here, but these people guaranteed people's money when Party first opened. When they start giving out warnings I pay attention. I'm not stopping using PT at Party, but I'm moving money around and I'm going to spread my poker time around too. I don't think they will actually keep my money, but freezing my funds for a good period of time might forced me into the fast food industry for awhile. "Do you wish fries with that?

I'm being careful. I don't mind a hit, but even thinking of a job-inducing one makes me feel like vomiting.

MS, I read your other post before about the 55k, and the same question came to mind when I was reading that post as this one. If you're that worried about it, why even keep any money on the skin at all? Neteller certainly has never sent me any threatening emailis... Unless you're playing really high stakes, you don't need that much for a buy-in. I know it's a hassle to have to deposit everytime you bust, but isn't it worth it?
