Default Do you fold in this spot?

About 70 left in the PS 20+2 Rebuy. We have about 55K and in about 15th place. Top 45 pay.

Dealt Ad-Kd in MP. Blinds are 300/600. Raise to 1800.
Next to act is a new guy to the table. He's been around for about 10 hands and has a stack of 85K. He's in the top 3 at this point. I have no read on him other than apparently he sucked out on someone at his previous table because the guy who lost followed him to his new table and was berating him. Not sure if this means anything...

Anyway, he raises all in over the top of me. Obviously this puts me all in. I fold without hesitation because I'm not willing to gamble my entire stack on what is likely a coin flip scenario (and he could quite possibly have KK or AA). Is this line ultra-tight or pretty standard?

Hmm. I like the fold. No sense gambling in this spot. He could just be pushing you out, but I like the fold.

I'm curious to see other opinions.

This is a very standard fold. You still have 90 bbs and you are at best tied, and likely a 45/55 underdog or even worse.

If he pulls the same crap a couple more times then he might be a total LAG and a call would be correct, but for now you have to give him credit

I think you're sitting pretty... just lay it down. To make this call I need to have seen at least one previous resteals get caught or showdown AQ or worse. You're in pretty good shape to do some damage and you've only dropped about 1/30th of your stack. Shake it off and move on.

Yeah, I checked the fold box immediately, so it didn't even give me a chance to try to convince myself otherwise.

This guy turned out to be a total LAG and actually didnt finish in the money, which is pretty tough to do when you are sitting in third with 30 to go.

Edit: 30 to go to the money.

Edit again: Obviously less than 30 to go to money, but you get the point. He was a risk taker

Stacks this big, this close to the money, you have to fold-- ALMOST every single time.
