Try playing titer. That way, it will lower your variance/swings.
In terms of bankroll mangagment, that is a tough one. I had problems with that earlier, but what helped me was to compute my hourly rate. Playing poker when you know your TRUE EXPECTED hourly rate makes you play better I think. Good luck
