Does anybody play Poker on a mobile phone at pokerroom?
Does it work?
I installed the software on a motorola razr V3 and a Nokia 6230. In both cases the demo mode works, but when I try playing for real money the screens stays black with 'connecting...' |

Re: Does anybody play Poker on a mobile phone at pokerroom?
This was discussed a bit here a few months back -- PokerRoom's official stance is that it's your fault it's not working, despite the fact that no one here that has a Razr v3 has ever managed to get it to work. Several of us got emails that had wording along the lines of, "I've talked to our lead engineer personally, and he assures me that there is no problem with the software."
PokerRoom's support people could give Party's a run for their money from time to time. |

Re: Does anybody play Poker on a mobile phone at pokerroom?
I'm able to play on a Nokia 6600. Strange thing is that while it used to work fine, it won't let me play anything below $2/$4 now. Lower limit tables just don't show up in the table list. I emailed support about it, and their position is that I'm either lying or insane.

Depends on your cell provider. There are a couple who block access to PokerRoom.com - which is why contacting PokerRoom is pretty pointless. Complain to your provider instead...

If you are on Cingular you're out of luck. They do not allow access. I've read that T-Mobile does work however. Unfortunately, I'm on Cingular.
