the challengers get to play whatever game they want, so why wouldn't someone like david grey pick their best game? who cares if he doesn't like to play triple draw if he is a good stud player?

[/ QUOTE ]

not only that, who wants to play triple draw at all?

sorry, i really haven't discovered the desire to play that one seriously

[/ QUOTE ]

deuce to seven triple draw is a wicked fun game

he's doing these challenges sponsored by the wynn

difference between negreanu and hellmuth is that hellmuth sucks at cash games.

The challenges are not sponsered by the wynn. If you mean they are giving daniel the money to play? It is all his money apart from small percentages that he gives to his friends.

Yes hellmuth is probably the worse of the 2 in cash games.

DN actually wrote a chapter on it in Supersystem 2. I don't know if there is any other TD strategy in print. Great game.

The question on Daniel Blog was what 3 pros would he not want to play and would want to play in a series of MIXED
games so in that case no the challengers wouldn't be just picking thier strongest game. That is Daniel original challenge but not the question asked of him.

i'm curious as to how barry greenstein would respond to those remarks.

[/ QUOTE ]
My guess it that he should, and will, let his play speak for itself.

[/ QUOTE ]

Having just finished the Professor, Banker, and Suicide King this weekend, I found it interesting that Barry G was not only a net loser to Andy Beal, but rather that Andy pwned Barry G from the outset and in every encounter. The only players who seemed to have a consistent edge on Beal were Lederer, Harmon, and Todd Brunson.

DN is way too cocky for my taste. You don't insult people the way he does constantly. As other said he should let his results speak for itself, no need to hype yourself up like that, and talk [censored] about other pros.

The edges and sessions for the most part were so small that the people who ended up winners or losers were largely due to luck. In fact if they played again I would bet on Beal in a heartbeat.
