Default Too spewy? Not spewy enough?

CO is a good aggressive TAG with good PT numbers. SB appears loose, but not much info.

Party Poker 3/6 Hold'em (6 max, 6 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is BB with 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
2 folds, CO raises, 1 fold, SB calls, Hero calls.

Flop: (6 SB) T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (3 players)
SB checks, Hero bets, CO raises, SB calls, Hero 3-bets, CO calls, SB calls.

Turn: (7.50 BB) 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (3 players)
SB checks, Hero bets, CO calls, SB calls.

River: (10.50 BB) 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 players)
SB checks, Hero checks, CO checks.

Final Pot: 10.50 BB

My turn rationale was that there was a reasonable chance CO had a pair < Aces, and would fold it to continued aggression. SB appeared to be on a draw. Reasonable play? Follow through with a bet on the river?

Thanks,
ZZZ

When he calls the turn, he's telling you he's calling the river. Good check there.

I don't like the flop 3bet much, but if that's your read, then go for it.

Why not 3bet the flop for thin value?

I dont know how the rest of you feel about this move, but my friend says you should take the free card on the turn. Is that too passive of a play? It looks like hes got an ace at this point and the only way your are going to beat him is with a flush. Downsides of this move are:
1. Tells him exactly what you have
2. Loses 1BB if the flush comes through, maybe 2BB if he folds to a river bet.

My thinking is that I want him to fold, so the turn bet looks good, and that if I do make my flush, I want to get the maximum value for the hand. Any thoughts on taking a free card here?

I think CO is betting if you check.

whats really great is that me and my friend spent almost half an hour on this post without noticing that there was still a CO to be reckoned with. People are stupid.

I do it all the time!

(well not 1/2 hour, that's a rare "what kind of pot was that" moment)

I check-raise the flop. It sucks if you bet and CO raises and knocks out the SB, let him call one bet first. If it gets checked through, oh well free card.
